My-Thuan Tran is a Manager at Global Health Strategies, where she supports communications and advocacy projects. Previously, My-Thuan was a reporter at the Los Angeles Times, where she covered immigrant communities and breaking news. Her reporting took her to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand, where she covered political unrest during the anti-government protests in 2010. My-Thuan covered public health issues at The Oregonian while she was a Kaiser Media Intern through a program run by the Kaiser Family Foundation. She also wrote about health policy issues in Washington D.C. for the Houston Chronicle and Congressional Quarterly.

My-Thuan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a double major in economics and political science.
