Dan Gwinnell is a Consultant at Global Health Strategies, where he oversees advocacy, research and communications initiatives for a variety of international organizations. Prior to joining GHS in 2008, Dan worked in fundraising and development at the American Cancer Society, one of the world’s largest cancer organizations. 

Dan was awarded his Master's in International Nonprofit Management and Policy at New York University, where he focused  on international development issues such as global health, conflict studies, and urban migration. His year-long thesis project involved in-depth research on innovative new funding streams for nonprofits operating internationally. He also holds a B.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University.
